ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Kelley Sharp works as an artist and commissioned portraitist whose paintings have been exhibited throughout the eastern United States. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College and a Master of Fine Arts from The University of Mississippi. While creating the illustrations for this book she said she loved the inherent freedom of rendering “distant travels that are accomplished in just a hop, skip and a jump." She resides with her husband, Will, and their daughter, Emma, in Atlanta, Georgia, where there are no farms on which to house a menagerie such as exists on the Scott’s family farm. However, they do have “Duck Duck,” a well-worn and much loved stuffed animal.
The images below are examples of available works by the artist.
